Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of supervision construction experience at a GC/CM firm.
• Solid, professional communication skills.
• Ability to produce innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Procore experience is a plus; Procore certification a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license and OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Working as a core member of a dedicated ICI team.
• Communicating professionally with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades and internal team members.
• Managing day-to-day activities of complex project sites in retail, restaurant and auto markets.
• Maintaining a safe work site by enforcing safety regulations and OSHA/state requirements.
• Overseeing and inspecting work against designs, plans, specs, subcontracts, shop drawings, and craftsmanship.
• Documenting and managing jobsite details, reporting progress, conducting weekly site meetings and inspections, and updating look-ahead schedules.
• Maintaining client relationships and managing client expectations.

Some of the specific responsibilities of a Project Superintendent include:

• Working as a core member of a dedicated ICI Team.
• Communicating professionally and effectively with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades and internal team members.
• Managing the day to day activities of complicated project sites in the retail, restaurant and auto markets and ensuring top-quality results through effective management of resources and the construction process.
• Maintaining a safe work site by implementing good housekeeping regulations and safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits and observing OSHA and any state-level agencies' regulations
• Overseeing and Inspecting work in progress against designs, plans, specifications, subcontracts/scopes, shop drawings and overall craftsmanship.
• Reducing project risk by reliably documenting and managing jobsite details, reporting on daily progress, conducting weekly site meetings and inspections, developing six-week look ahead schedules and managing the overall schedule.
• Maintain client relationships by meeting and managing client expectations, professionally addressing any concern or escalating issues as appropriate.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Preferably at least 5 Years Supervision Construction experience at a GC / CM firm
• Solid, professional, communication skills
• Ability to produce innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Results-driven ability to effectively manage and follow-up on multiple priorities
• Computer skills should include: Windows PC, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Windows File Management
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven supervision and management skills to motivate/manage people and teams.
• Procore Experience / Certification a Plus

Certifications, Licenses & Registration

• Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification, or ability to obtain
• Must have a valid driver's license
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification or an ability to obtain

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing on the job site.
• Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods. Climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders repeatedly.
• Occasionally may lift to 50 lbs.
