ABOUT

The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four civil/vertical construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, vertical construction, and site development for government and private clients across the United States.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of construction and industrial services projects. The Project Manager must have strong knowledge of project management principles, construction processes, and adhere to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  2. Coordinate and supervise all project activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  3. Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
  4. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  6. Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  7. Conduct regular project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  8. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  9. Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
  10. Prepare and present project reports to management.
  11. Technical writing skills, including the ability to bid work and have it reviewed.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Current OSHA 30 certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accurate project documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service and client management skills.
