Position Description
Lead with executive presence, strategic understanding of Self‑Perform Operations (SPO), and a broader company perspective to lead the SPO organization, objectives, and projects within the business center and local offices.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Lead with action to build trust and promote the One Turner philosophy with business centers, local offices, and external resources. Drive business center local office culture consistent with SPO guiding principles and influence the culture regarding SPO on every project.
- Lead development and communication of SPO organizational standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the business center aligned with functional and business center leadership directives and Turner Operation Group (TOG) recommendations. Collaborate with National SPO leadership to align and improve operational efficiencies across business centers and facilitate the sharing of best practices.
- Deliver communications to provide context and share information effectively across organizational levels and externally facilitate collaboration across business centers to develop seamless SPO operations and integration across the company.
- Demonstrate people‑oriented leadership to facilitate collaboration, develop relationships, and expand professional networks internally and externally.
- Prioritize SPO safety across the business center and collaborate with Safety to develop communication plans and SOPs for adoption by business center local offices. Promote integration of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Building L.I.F.E. principles and strive for zero incidents among SPO and staff.
- Lead business planning to develop and implement an annual profit plan in alignment with the General Manager (GM) and establish an evaluation process to achieve stated goals. Accelerate growth, drive earnings targets, and develop strategies to increase SPO penetration and profitability. Leverage SPO expertise and talent placement throughout the business center to increase profitability.
- Implement standards for financial forecasting, reporting, estimating, and production tracking. Conduct regular reviews of SPO goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) against actual performance and develop plans to improve performance as necessary.
- Maintain active engagement with business center projects and business development opportunities, attend presentations to maintain a full understanding of major projects, financials, SPO impact, and related staff opportunities.
- Collaborate with business center leadership, Resource Officer, and local Human Resources to identify workforce planning needs for SPO employee assignments, participate in project recruiting, career progression, and succession planning activities to sustain a staffing pipeline that meets forecasted requirements and enhances retention.
- Drive actions to align recruiting planning for both staff and trades with the technical skills and acumen needed to perform direct work scopes required to achieve financial and hiring goals.
- Strategically plan business center and local office SPO resources based on revenue benchmarks and actuals to facilitate operational and financial decisions and resource management goals. Coordinate needs and availabilities with direct work SPO business leaders.
- Promote employee mobility within SPO and facilitate career development opportunities with other business centers and in conjunction with the Resource Manager. Strategically deploy resources to grow capabilities across business centers.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be 195,000.00 – 262,000.00 USD annualized.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program and a minimum of 15 years of building construction experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of Self‑Perform Operations (SPO) specific scopes of work and trades.
- Experience with large and mega construction projects (desired).
- Demonstrate people‑oriented leadership style.
- Strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and financial comprehension to facilitate operational decisions.
- Deep understanding and ability to establish strategic plans for workforce development, resource management, and staff career development across multiple offices, in a demanding and competitive environment.
- Able to develop a clear vision for achieving resource management goals aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Exhibit behaviors and values that align with the organizational culture; viewed as a leader and role model for inclusion and collaboration.
- Extensive experience establishing and achieving strategic business key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting and a history of meeting financial performance metrics.
- Ability to grow leadership impact beyond local responsibilities, focusing on overall company performance.
- Leadership presentation delivery and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage others across organizational levels who are not direct reports.
- Extensive experience leading diverse and remote teams, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability.
- Ability to oversee and drive accountability for resource planning, assess and support career development for employees, and collaborate with other leaders to identify career opportunities across the organization.
