Tree of Knowledge is seeking a Private Educator to provide full-time instruction for two school-aged brothers in a personalized homeschooling environment.

The role focuses on mathematics and reading/language arts, with responsibility for other core subjects and overall educational enrichment. Travel with the family and outside-the-home learning experiences are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach mathematics and reading/language arts to school-age children.
• Ability to develop individualized lesson plans aligned with standards and student needs.
• Experience creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences and trips outside the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction in mathematics, reading/language arts, and other core subjects.
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with educational standards and student needs.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Create engaging, project-based learning experiences.
• Plan and supervise educational field trips, museum visits, science centers, and cultural events.
• Travel with the family as needed while maintaining educational continuity.
• Foster a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Maintain open, professional communication with the family regarding student progress.
