Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Journeyman for a nationwide traveling role supporting Retail Distribution Systems projects across the United States.

The candidate will install and service electrical systems, read blueprints, and mentor apprentices while meeting safety and quality standards. The position requires extensive travel (often overnight) and living arrangements provided via housing-per diem; PTO, medical benefits, and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 8,000+ verifiable hours in the electrical trade are required.
• Current State Electrical Journeyman license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect control systems, power distribution systems, switchgear and panels using appropriate components.
• Diagnose, repair and resolve electrical problems with testing instruments, schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Read blueprints and layout drawings; perform layout for overhead and in-wall rough-in.
