Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field teams and drive on-time, high-quality project delivery in Michigan. The role oversees production, safety and customer relations across contracted scopes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of supervision experience, active HVAC or plumbing licensure, and strong building-code knowledge, with English fluency and basic computer/documentation skills.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising crews and leading multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license required.
• Strong knowledge of the National Building Code and local codes.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
• Baseline computer skills and ability to document work.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and general contractor to resolve conflicts and provide good service.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage material and personnel requirements to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
