Life Line Screening seeks a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, travel-based team. You will perform venipuncture, finger-sticks, and related Medical Assistant duties across various locations, ensuring accuracy and high-quality specimens.

You will review records, monitor patients, maintain confidentiality, and support sanitation and transport of specimens to labs. A strong customer service mindset and 1 year venipuncture experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of adult venipuncture experience.
• Experience handling specimens and transport to lab.
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient draw settings preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation required.

In Life Line Screening’s community event-based setting, you will be an integral team member of a fast-paced work environment, working in a different location each day. As part of our trained clinical team, you will perform medically appropriate screenings that give customers valuable insights into their health.

What you’ll do as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant at Life Line Screening:

• Cross train and participate in allcore Medical Assistant duties including Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis, AFIB, Registration and Laboratory screening areas
• Review participant records for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct Venipuncture and finger-sticks, where scheduled
• Monitor patients for reactions as well as ensure the quality of the sample
• Ensure patient confidentiality and comfortability while meeting customer service expectations throughout entire process
• Oversee and ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients
• Properly package and ship specimens to central lab on a daily basis, where applicable

What you'll need to be successful at Life Line Screening:

• Extensive work experience with customer-facing Medical Assistant and phlebotomy duties
• Precision phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 1 year of experience with adult venipuncture
• Experienced with centrifuge and separating serum and plasma specimens into transport tubes using transfer devices
• Skilled in inpatient or outpatient draw experience (hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office traveling phlebotomist, or draw center, etc.)
• Desire to provide unparalleled customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
• Strength in teamwork & collaboration; sharing responsibilities driving the company van, loading, and unloading equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Certification in phlebotomy from either the ASCP, NPA, NHA or AMT is preferred

Travel, Schedule and Additional Details:

• Schedules run Mon-Fri and Saturdays
• Schedule is a made up of a rotational 3-weeks “on” working/traveling, followed by 1-week “off” at home
• Paid flight/car rental + hourly rate for commute time back and forth
• Paid travel for daily team commute that ranges from 30 minutes up to 4 hours one-way
• Hotels stays are paid
