Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support multiple clinics across the Tacoma–Vancouver corridor. The role requires traveling between sites, assisting the pharmacist, and maintaining inventory while delivering excellent patient and staff service.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions under supervision, coordinating supplies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A Washington license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in WA state.
• Ability to travel to all sites in Bellingham to Vancouver area.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and patients.
• Assist in filling prescription orders under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies; process wholesaler orders.
• Verify medication stock and update inventory in the system.
• Support pharmacy functions to remain compliant with federal and state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain clear, professional communication.
