Job summary

HealthTrust Supply Chain in San Antonio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Free Standing Emergency Department to support pharmacy and supply operations. You will receive, stock and distribute medications and supplies, maintain safety stock levels, and assist the Pharmacist in Charge to ensure regulatory compliance.

This market-wide role requires traveling between Free Standing ED facilities in the San Antonio area; mileage is reimbursed at the current rate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required
• State Reg Pharmacy Technician Required (CpHT)
• Pharmacy Technician Cert Board or NHA Certification Required (PTCB)

Responsibilities

• Manage the pharmacy and supply operations to ensure safe medication and supplies availability.
• Receive, order and promptly distribute all medication and supplies within the facility.
• Review and maintain Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock and other stocking locations.
• Follow policies, quality assurance and regulatory compliance with PIC and/or Consultant Pharmacist.
