Watts Dental - Palmetto, FL is seeking a Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant to support periodontists across our Palmetto, Apollo Beach, and Fishhawk offices. This role involves hands-on experience with specialty and surgical procedures and requires travel approximately 1–3 days per week.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of specialty dental assisting, current Dental Assistant and X‑Ray certifications, and experience with IV sedation and blood draws.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of specialty dental assisting experience.
• Current Dental Assistant certification.
• Current X-Ray certification.
• Experience assisting with IV sedation procedures.
• Experience performing blood draws.
• Periodontal surgical experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different office environments and schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Assist specialists during periodontal, implant, and surgical procedures.
• Support IV sedation appointments and monitor patient readiness.
• Draw blood when required for specialty procedures.
• Prepare, transport, and organize surgical instruments and materials between locations.
• Set up treatment rooms and maintain clinical efficiency.
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Educate and support patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless care across offices.
