Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Traveling Patient Dining Services Manager to lead patient services across 3–4 acute care locations in the MS, TN, and AR region. This role requires travel and management of patient dining operations with strong emphasis on compliance and staff development.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree in related fields, CDM or RD preferred, and at least 1 year in food service management in acute care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year work experience in food services or related field or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• CDM, RD or RD preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, EMR, and diet office systems

Responsibilities

• Sets goals and oversees implementation of patient food services per medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient needs within diet order guidelines
• Ensures patient services staff helps achieve patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with federal/state/accrediting standards while upholding HIPAA and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, department meetings, and QA/PI initiatives

Job Summary

We are seeking a Traveling Patient Dining Services Managerto lead our Patient Services Team in 3-4 Acute Care locations within the following region: MS, TN, AR

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes goals and overseesimplementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems

Willingness to travel 100%
