Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Regional Patient Food Services Manager based near Atlanta to lead patient solutions for focus accounts. This role requires 75% travel and offers a path to elevate client relationships and patient satisfaction across assigned East Coast accounts.

The ideal candidate will live near a major airport and have a background in healthcare food service management, with a degree in related field and nutrition/dietary certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field is acceptable.
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian or Registered Diet Technician preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in food service management, preferably in acute care or contract managed service.
• ServSafe certification desirable. Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient food services for focus accounts and drive patient satisfaction.
• Coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
• Ensure dietary restrictions are met per diet orders and guidelines.
• Support staff in achieving patient satisfaction goals.
• Comply with regulatory standards and HIPAA, maintain patient rights policies.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Solutions efforts for focus accounts. This is a unique role to impact client relationships and patient satisfaction in your assigned area. This role requires 75% travel and the ideal candidate will live close to a major airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
• Coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred
• Minimum of one 3 years experience in food service management preferably in an acute care, contract managed food service setting
• ServSafe® certified, desirable
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems
