West Coast Dental Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dental procedures, educate patients, and maintain sterile operatories. You will take X-rays, prepare trays, and ensure compliance with infection control standards in a busy California practice.

The role requires a California RDA license, CPR certification, and experience with dental instruments and sterilization. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for patient communication.

Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Dental Assistant license and RDA certification required.
• Current X-Ray License required.
• CPR and First-Aid certification required.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish required or preferred depending on location.
• Ability to obtain an NPI.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide oral hygiene education to patient and family.
• Take x-rays as prescribed by the doctor.
• Prepare operatories and trays for procedures.
• Ensure operatories are stocked and cleaned at all times.
• Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments.
• Assist Floor Supervisor in ordering supplies and instruments.
• Follow infection control standards per OSHA and dental board regulations.
• Explain treatment plans to patients and assist with front office coordination.
