Job summary

Dr Lane & Associates is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Traveling Oral Surgery Assistant in Raleigh, NC. This role involves supporting our Oral Surgeon/Sedation Dentist and ensuring exceptional patient care.

You will assist with surgical procedures, monitor patient vital signs, and provide pre- and post-operative guidance. The position offers competitive pay, quarterly performance bonuses, and opportunities for team events and volunteering.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certification is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Valid State of North Carolina X-Ray Certification is required.
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sedation Dentist/Oral Surgeon during all phases of patient care.
• Accurately obtain and document patient medical histories.
• Prepare and set up for surgical procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the Emergency Drug Box and Crash Cart.
• Track and maintain operatory supply levels.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
