Job summary

Austin Retina Associates is hiring an Entry Level Traveling Ophthalmic Technician for our Georgetown, TX area clinics. You will train on-site and travel to multiple locations, assisting with patient care, vision testing, imaging, and charting while supporting physicians.

No ophthalmic experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; a Texas driver’s license with a clean record is needed, and bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• No prior ophthalmic experience? This is an entry point into the medical field.
• Comprehensive training provided for individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• During triage, assist and guide patients through each step of their visit, listen to concerns, and help them feel at ease.
• Gather medical histories, perform vision testing and imaging, prepare exam rooms, document clinical notes, and support physicians during treatments and procedures.
• Travel to Georgetown and other clinic locations as needed; company transportation available.
