Traveling Occupational Therapist OT Home Health

Job Overview

Provide evaluative, consultative, and treatment interventions to home health patients referred by physicians in their residences. This role covers locations including Atlanta, Union City, Cumming, and Monroe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess, monitor, document, and report patient progress using required technology and within established timelines.
  2. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and physicians to develop and manage patient care plans.
  3. Demonstrate competency in home care and specific patient care skills.
  4. Prioritize patient care needs with initiative and sound judgment.
  5. Assist in training and orienting new staff.
  6. Utilize company-approved educational materials for patient and family education.
  7. Complete documentation accurately and timely, including assessments, care plans, and physician orders.
  8. Report violations and adhere to compliance programs.
  9. Meet productivity standards and participate in surveys, meetings, and training as required.
  10. Follow safety regulations and maintain current licensure and records.
  11. Manage time effectively to meet outcomes and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Valid and unrestricted license in the practicing state.
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited program.
  • Foreign-trained applicants must have credentials deemed equivalent by an approved evaluation organization.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in home health is preferred.
