Job summary

Focus Staff seeks a traveling Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Denton, TX to independently perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies. You will acquire, process and prepare studies and set up readings for physicians while maintaining accurate daily records.

The 13-week contract requires a BSN, AHA BLS certification, and strong attention to patient safety, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Acquire, process and prepare studies; readies readings for physicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily records.
• Demonstrate professionalism and patient safety in all actions.
• Contribute to department efficiency and safety initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team and patients.
