Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in a travel assignment in Fenton, MI. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and Michigan licensure as applicable. Shift is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Travel and housing support provided.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelors in Nuclear Medicine Technology or AMA-approved program.
  • ARRT registration or NMTCB certification is required.
  • BLS certification.
  • State licensure as required in Michigan.
  • Experience performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and radiopharmaceutical handling.
  • Ability to operate and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory standards.
  • Preferred: 2 years experience.

Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic studies.

Minimum Requirements
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or graduation from an AMA‑approved school of nuclear medicine.
  • Registration in Nuclear Medicine with the ARRT or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). (Required.)
  • BLS certification.
  • State certification or licensure as required to practice nuclear medicine in Michigan when applicable.
  • Experience performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and preparing/administering radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Ability to operate and perform routine maintenance and quality assurance on nuclear imaging equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance (The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local standards).
  • Preferred: 2 years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a hospital setting.
  • Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application, if available.

  • Shift hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Work days: Monday through Friday.
