Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in the Atlanta area is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to join a multidisciplinary team. You will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment in a full-time role.

The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, state license and certification, BLS, and 2+ years of experience, with 3-5+ years preferred. Shift is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with on-call and weekend coverage.

• Float between nuclear medicine and PET as needed.

Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
• 3-5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in general nuclear medicine as well as PET
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Scheduled days: Monday through Friday.
• On-call required: one weekday per week from 4:30 PM - 10:00 PM and one weekend per month on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
• Float between nuclear medicine and PET as needed.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• Dress code: Grey scrubs.
