Job summary

PROtect LLC is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to conduct mechanical integrity inspections on vessels, piping and tanks at ethanol facilities across the United States on a 3 week on/1 week off rotation. The role requires performing non-destructive testing per API 510, 570, and 653, selecting and loading equipment, and documenting findings with precision.

The position involves travel across midwest/US sites, driving company vehicles, and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• NDT Methods – Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work a demanding and flexible schedule with travel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Customer service and professional conduct on site.
• Coordination and critical thinking to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing of components and materials per applicable codes and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate NDT methods including API inspections and visual testing.
• Prepare, load, calibrate, and operate testing equipment.
• Identify defects and document findings clearly.
• Complete work orders and reports on time.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safety standards.
