Job summary

Wallick Communities seeks a Traveling Construction Superintendent III to lead a Cleveland multifamily project. This field role drives safety, schedule, quality and cost from mobilization to turnover, with frequent long-term travel between assignments.

You’ll manage ground-up construction and occupied renovations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring project controls while maintaining site discipline and cost containment. Travel and relocation are common across Wallick communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field leadership and supervision.
• Experience in multifamily construction projects.
• Experience with ground-up or occupied renovation work.
• Knowledge of means/methods, sequencing, safety, quality and controls.
• Ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, contracts and schedules.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction systems like Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through turnover and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, site logistics and sequencing of trades.
• Conduct site walks, verify progress, address issues to prevent delays and extra costs.
• Read and work from drawings, specifications, contracts and schedules and communicate with design consultants.
• Maintain an organized, professional, accountable job site.
