• Shift: Flexible to travel up to 3 weeks per month as needed to support Commercial, Red Classic, and CCCI customers (All Scheduled).

Pay Rate: $34+/hr, based on skillset and experience.

Traveling Mobile Diesel Technician

Job Overview

• Responsible for repairing and maintaining all medium to heavy-duty customer vehicles and equipment, including performing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure efficient vehicle operations. You will be assigned and operate a company-owned service vehicle to visit customers and conduct onsite repairs. Service repairs may include forklifts, trailers, and tractors. You will also make road calls as needed. These duties are performed independently, with little to no supervision. Must be equipped with personal hand tools, with removed tools stored in the truck's service bed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of medium to heavy-duty diesel truck engines, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, understanding of internal combustion engines, and ability to identify main components. Must be a self-starter, proficient in computer systems (Microsoft Suite & others), with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Class A/B License preferred for some positions
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate
• DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
