Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions is seeking a Millwright in Ennis, Texas to service rotating equipment and perform preventive maintenance across regional facilities.

Requires 1+ year experience with rotating machinery, basic machining/welding/electrical knowledge, and strong communication. Travel up to 75% will be required, with a $5/hr premium outside Ennis. Wages range $31.50–$47.00/hr, plus overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience repairing rotating equipment.
• Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and electrical practices.
• Demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be capable of lifting/moving objects ≥50 pounds and performing bending, lifting, and climbing tasks.
• Capable of working extensive overtime (up to 80 hours) and weekends when needed.
• Willing to routinely travel to facilities (typically up to a week).

Responsabilités

• Service, repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on rotating and mechanical equipment.
• Perform and teach alignment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, and belt-driven systems.
• Maintain records of services and repairs and uphold safe, clean working practices.
• Collaborate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors to sustain strong working relationships.
• Identify tasks outside normal duties and assist others when applicable.
• Maintain safe work practices and hazard recognition in all aspects of the job.
