Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a part-time, on-site Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores and travel between them. The role is non-exempt with a competitive wage of $15 per hour, including travel time.

You will follow planograms, replenish products, and report hours using company apps. Travel up to 100% of the time, with weekday store visits per the schedule; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Reliable transportation for travel.
Proficient with Movista and/or company-required applications.
Must have a personal cell phone and mobile device.
Proficient with Word, internet and email applications.

Responsibilities

Merchandise products in retail stores according to standards; replenish stock and set up displays.
Service all assigned stores on the scheduled days and hours.
Obtain supervisor approval before overtime or working beyond scheduled hours.
Accurately log hours and other work information using designated apps.
Communicate duties with store personnel and supervisor as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
