Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in Lakeland, FL. The role requires travel between accounts and meeting weekly scheduling expectations.

Responsibilities include merchandising to corporate standards, replenishing stock, and coordinating with a supervisor. Requires reliable transportation, strong communication, and proficiency with standard software and Movista.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment following store and corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product; assemble shelves and displays per guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within designated hours; seek approval for off-hours.
• Record work hours and related information using designated apps.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing undocumented tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
