This position is for a full-time traveling assignment across the United States supporting sports projects. Prior sports-related project experience is strongly preferred.

Position Description:

Leads, directs, and coordinates the work of subcontractors and trade labor regarding Mechanical and Electrical systems, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget compliance. Supervises Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.

Reports to:

Project Superintendent, Project Manager, or MEP Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage performance related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing.
  • Coordinate work among trades, resolve local issues, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Supervise and develop team members, including performance appraisals.
  • Create schedules, develop recovery strategies, and communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Oversee billing, work in place, and project documentation.
  • Ensure work conforms to contract documents and coordinate with engineers and architects.
  • Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, and handover processes.
  • Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with plans and codes.
  • Review project changes and maintain detailed records.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least six years of relevant construction experience. Knowledge of building systems, BIM, and project management software. Strong communication, leadership, and interpretive skills.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work in construction environments, occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment:

Primarily on-site at construction locations, exposed to noise, mechanical parts, heights, fumes, and outdoor conditions.
