ARCO Companies is seeking an MEP Superintendent to lead all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing field operations on large data center projects in Chicago. You will coordinate installations, ensure safety and design compliance, and drive timely project delivery with subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in MEP supervision, data center experience, and strong leadership. Travel, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with construction software are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in MEP supervision, with at least 3 years on data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with commissioning and integrated systems testing.
• Proficiency in project documentation and reporting.
• OSHA certification and safety protocol familiarity.

A Day in the Life:

Necessary Qualifications:

• Ability to travel to project sites as needed


• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence


• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred


• 5–10 years of experience in MEP supervision, with at least 3 years on data center projects


• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems


• Experience with commissioning and integrated systems testing


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software


• Excellent leadership and communication skills


• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols


• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Typical base compensation for the Superintendent role is between $90,000.00 - $160,000.00. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.
