This is a full-time traveling position supporting healthcare projects nationwide, reporting to the Healthcare Market Segment Group. Prior healthcare project experience is strongly preferred.

Position Description:

Oversee and direct preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Reports to:

Project Manager, Project Executive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to ensure alignment with client goals from initiation to completion.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of contract documents, including contracts, plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Turner MEP staff, including conducting performance appraisals.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
• Manage procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and project close-out processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Strong communication skills, LEED accreditation preferred, computer proficiency, and leadership abilities are required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, negotiate work areas, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Vision and manual dexterity are necessary.
