Traveling MEP Manager - MSG - Healthcare

Join to apply for the Traveling MEP Manager - MSG - Healthcare role at Turner Construction Company.

This position involves overseeing and directing preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across healthcare projects nationwide, reporting to the Healthcare Market Segment Group.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive experience in design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare project experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills, with familiarity with project management and scheduling software.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to ensure project alignment with client goals.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop MEP staff, including performance evaluations.
  • Manage procurement, budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and project close-out processes.
  • Oversee daily activities of MEP engineers, superintendents, and subordinates.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role requires physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing stairs, ladders, and negotiating construction sites, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. The work environment involves moderate noise and exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals, with accommodations available for disabilities.
