Job summary

Lemartec Corporation, MasTec’s General Building arm, is seeking a Project Engineer (MEP) to provide technical information to project managers and craft supervisors while supporting project controls and subcontract oversight. The role involves extensive travel across the United States to project sites and is essential for ensuring adherence to engineering standards and schedules.

The candidate should have a BS in engineering and 1–2 years of construction experience, with preferred exposure to MEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of construction experience required.
• Prior experience with MEP projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for industrial construction.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil and process plant systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage field design changes and QA/QC records.
• Support the Project Controls Manager with cost, scheduling, and estimating tasks.
