Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Traveling Mechanical Laborer to join our team for the installation, repair, and modification of conveyor systems, including overhead, floor, roller, I-beam, and belt conveyors. This role requires extensive travel to job sites and hands-on mechanical labor.

Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, and repair conveyor systems on-site.
• Operate construction vehicles and use power tools for assembly and installation.
• Read tape measures accurately and work with various hand and power tools.
• Haul materials and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Travel extensively to job sites, working three weeks on-site with a 3-4 day home rotation.
• Perform shop work when not in the field.

Job Details:

• Crews travel together using company vehicles (personal vehicle use is optional but not reimbursed for fuel).
• Company covers hotel/lodging (2 crew members per room).
• $35.00 per day per diem, paid biweekly.
• 10-hour workdays, 60 hours per week during installation projects.
• Payroll is processed weekly (every Thursday).

• 90 day probation period.
• Pay: $17.00/hour (Shop) | $19.00/hour (Field) – with advancement opportunities after 6+ months.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical measurements.
• Prior experience in general labor, construction, or mechanical work is a plus.
