Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and vehicles, ensuring their functionality and reliability.

Ideal candidates will be physically and mentally fit, with strong knowledge of mechanic's tools, diagnostic equipment, and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and vehicles.
• Identify and resolve root causes of issues promptly.
• Build and assemble mechanical components per specifications.
• Inspect machines, engines, and transmissions; conduct diagnostic tests.
• Plan maintenance and upgrade procedures.
• Clean, lubricate, and replenish fluids in machinery.
• Undertake additional duties such as hydraulic repairs or vehicle painting.
• Maintain work logs and records of repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor inventory and order parts as needed.
• Advise on maintenance and preventative procedures.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification from a vocational or trade school.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Mechanic.
• Own tools required.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measurement tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures.
• Strong health and safety commitment.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to work independently with integrity.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This role operates mainly in the field, requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Work may be in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
