Job summary

The Kelly Group seeks an Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker for traveling assignments based out of Lafayette, IN. You will perform maintenance on grain handling equipment and related systems, ensuring safe operations and minimal downtime.

Required: 2–4 years of plant maintenance experience in grain processing, welding (SMAW), mechanical fabrication, and proficiency with conveyors and bearings. Competitive benefits and a $910/week per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of plant maintenance experience in grain handling/processing.
• Experience with conveyors, bearings and setting tolerances.
• Welding (SMAW) and fabrication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance on conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors.
• Show familiarity with bearings, tolerances and taper locks.
• Rigging and hoisting to move materials using cranes or hand signaling to an operator.
• Complete work using safe work practices.
• Dismantling/installation of machines, structures and equipment.
