Job summary

A manufacturing company based in Ohio is seeking an individual for installation of fire and security alarm systems. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, alongside extensive travel throughout the Continental US. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electronic principles and be comfortable working at heights. Excellent benefits are provided including health, dental, vision plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Comfortable with heights using both ladders and lifts.
• Certified and licensed by the State of Ohio to install fire alarm and detection equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fire and security alarm systems and telecommunication equipment.
• Test and validate installations to industry standards.
• Clean and service alarm systems and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems to identify and isolate malfunctions.
• Assist with project installation planning and material ordering.
• Serve as onsite point of contact and mentor entry level employees.

Skills

Knowledge of electronic, telephone and RF principles

Proficient in Microsoft Word

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in AutoCAD

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
