Job summary

Swan Aquatics is seeking a Lifeguard Traveling Instructor in San Diego, CA, to deliver Red Cross-aligned LG, CPR, and First-Aid courses. The role requires travel to partner facilities within a 50–150 mile radius and on-site training support.

Compensation is hourly with mileage and lodging stipends. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years teaching LG/CPR/FA, valid driver’s license, and current Red Cross LGI/CPRI certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching LG/CPR/FA courses.
• Current American Red Cross LGI and/or CPRI certifications.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to meet car rental requirements.
• Ability to lift and transport training equipment (~50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Conduct Red Cross-aligned Lifeguard (LG), CPR, and First-Aid courses.
• Support on-site audits and in-service training as needed.
• Travel to partner facilities (50–150 mi radius).
