Job summary

Gregor Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in the New York area. The role requires driving to multiple job sites and supervising a painting crew across commercial construction projects.

You must have 3+ years in commercial painting, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to read blueprints. Travel across NY/NJ/CT is expected, with nights and weekends possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial painting, with leadership exposure.
• Strong communication skills for emails, RFIs, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction docs.
• Willingness to travel to NY/NJ/CT areas and across NYC five boroughs and surrounding regions.
• Background in carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a managerial presence on job sites from start to end of day.
• Manage multiple trades and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants.
• Prepare and adhere to construction schedules and ensure compliance with project plans.
• Develop and implement site strategies and cost-control measures.
• Supervise field staff and ensure safety practices are followed.
