Traveling Lead Data Technician

Wachter is seeking a strong low voltage technician looking for a challenging role leading small crews to install complete low voltage systems from the ground up. Would need to be able to install, terminate, and test CAT6 and multimode fiber. Must be familiar with the installation and troubleshooting of networking equipment, IP Cameras, POTS lines, retail POS equipment and Access Points. This position frequently requires customer and GC interaction, so strong interpersonal skills are a must.

This position will require extensive travel – the candidate must be available to fly to jobsites away from home for up to 8 weeks at a time and may have as little as 1 week of downtime between jobs. Must have 5 years experience on low voltage installations and demonstrated experience leading teams of techs on multi-week projects.
