Job summary

Benchmark Masonry is seeking a Journeyman Mason to join our Lewistown, MT team. This role requires extensive masonry experience, the ability to work across Montana, and a valid driver’s license. You will lay and finish masonry units, work with the crew to meet safety and quality goals, and travel as projects demand.

Responsibilities include layout, tool handling, and coordination with the Superintendent. Lodging and travel logistics are arranged by the company, with paid travel time within crew

Qualifications

• Five plus years MASONRY field work on commercial construction projects.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and understand project documents such as plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lay masonry units including bricks, block, and stone to project specs.
• Collaborate with crew during daily meetings to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Install wall ties, flashings, and other masonry accessories per standards.
• Layout projects and verify field dimensions; shape bricks/stone as required.
• Maintain project site safety and communicate with the Superintendent.
