Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Own all tools per company policy and can use them daily.
• Demonstrate the Amteck Way in daily work activities and decisions.
• Able to work weekends and overtime on project schedules.
• Willingness to learn job-related material on the job site.
• Demonstrate a team-player mentality and safety focus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math, able to read construction docs.
• Willing to participate in field training on-the-job or classroom-based.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit using measuring devices and hand tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, and feeders.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuiting and schematics.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics for layouts.
• Lay out small areas from drawings, including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
