Job summary

GrowthWise Search Partners is seeking a Traveling Journeyman Electrician for major commercial projects. This is a W2 role with overtime and per diem where eligible, offering the stability and benefits of company employment.

You’ll work six 10-hour days on-site, perform installations, read blueprints, and ensure NEC compliance while mentoring apprentices. A strong background in commercial/industrial electrical work and safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

Hands-on commercial or industrial electrical work experience.
Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical regulations.
Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, and diagrams.
Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial projects (EMT 3/4” and 1”).
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and diagrams.
Perform layout and complete electrical installations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Ensure electrical work complies with NEC requirements, safety regulations, and project specs.
Help direct and train Electrical Apprentices in the field as needed.
