Job summary

Knobelsdorff is seeking an experienced Electrician to support the Energy division on solar installation projects in Minnesota. You will execute and oversee photovoltaic electrical construction, ensuring quality, safety, and project timelines.

The role includes mentoring apprentices, maintaining field records, and collaborating with foremen to meet safety and production goals. The ideal candidate has a valid Journeyman Electrician license, 5+ years in solar or electrical construction, and strong

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
  • 5+ years of experience in solar or electrical construction.
  • Familiarity with photovoltaic (solar) systems and DC/AC configurations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel extensively across Minnesota (overnight stays required).
  • Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Description

This role supports the Energy division by providing licensed electrical work across solar installation projects in Minnesota. Pay Range

$55 - $60 per hour plus $125 per diem, travel incentive opportunities, and overtime eligibility
