Job summary

Tradesmen International is seeking Traveling Industrial Pipefitters for projects in the Cameron, LA area. This first shift role offers a pay rate of $39.50/hour based on experience with a $105/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. The job involves reading blueprints, fabricating and installing pipe systems, and performing testing and basic repairs on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance welding experience.
• Must pass drug screen, hearing test, and respirator fit test.
• NCCER Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Fabricate and install various pipe types (screw, socket weld, stainless, carbon steel).
• Miter and fabricate pipe; install valves, supports and hangers.
• Perform steam tracing, oxygen/acetylene cutting and basic rigging.
• Test piping systems and leak test tubing.
