Job Title: Travel Commercial HVAC Technician

Your Impact

We are seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC package units on Renewable Energy Sites across the United States. This role is fast-paced and rewarding, ideal for responsible, self-motivated individuals willing to travel and eager to grow in the Renewables industry. The position involves up to 100% travel, with candidates ideally residing on the East Coast.

Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain commercial cooling package units on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components.
  • Conduct performance checks and perform regular HVAC maintenance.
  • Upgrade or maintain HVAC equipment as needed, including during off-seasons.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations.
  • Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely, adhering to company policies.
Core Experience
  • Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification (Required).
  • Minimum of 2 years HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in commercial settings.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical/Work Environment

Candidates must comply with OSHA Standards and reside on the East Coast. Travel up to 100% during peak seasons is required. Must be available for after-hours and weekend call-outs, drive to remote sites, work outdoors in varying temperatures, lift up to 50 pounds, and adhere to FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $35.00 to $45.00, based on experience (DOE), plus Per Diem. Employees are eligible for overtime, bonuses, stipends, company vehicle, and other incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development courses.
