Two Coast Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform ongoing facility maintenance across multifamily properties. You will respond to work orders, perform light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, and help keep residents and amenities in top condition.
You bring 3+ years of property maintenance experience, relevant certifications, and a safety-first approach. Expect full-time hours with occasional evenings and weekends to meet care standards.
As a residential Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily properties operating and appearing at their best.
You will use your three-plus years of experience in property maintenance (either in a residential or hospitality setting) to address work orders before issues escape into major problems. You’ve done light carpentry, are experienced with minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and aren’t afraid to work on HVAC systems.
You are interested in growing your career and have obtained one or more relevant certifications so you can take on more complex repair and maintenance work using your EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications or technical degrees that this property needs.
You want to positively impact people’s lives by proactively addressing routine maintenance and the general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse.
Your friendly and efficient approach is perfect when engaging with residents in their units and about the property. You are committed to creating a safe working environment for the team and a safe living environment for our residents with a safety-first approach to everything you do.
You will work full-time, generally Monday through Friday; however, this position is not limited to weekday hours and may require working evenings, Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
While we provide equipment and supplies to complete most work orders, you must maintain your own tool kit to complete work orders. You will regularly need to use either a company-owned vehicle or your own to move between properties or pick up supplies off-site. Therefore, you must have a valid driver’s license to be effective in this position.
We offer many benefits to meet your needs, including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance options. The company provides auto-enrollment in its 401(k) plan after 60 days of employment. New employees accrue 40 vacation hours in the first year and earn paid sick leave per state requirements. Eligible employees also receive holiday pay (if working) or paid holidays (if scheduled off) for six holidays each year.
Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, and responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.
Two Coast Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We will consider all qualified Applicants for employment, including those with Criminal Histories (arrest and conviction records), in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
