Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment including dump trucks, bulldozers, front end loaders, graders, excavators, water trucks.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and work in dusty environments.
• Must be able to judge distances and slopes and operate multiple equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow safety regulations
• Take actions to avoid hazards or obstructions
• Locate underground services prior to beginning work
• Monitor operations to ensure health and safety standards are met
• Control attachments and operate machines such as bulldozers and excavators
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals
• Load and move dirt, rocks, or materials with appropriate equipment
• Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability
• Drive and maneuver equipment to distribute and level earth
