Job summary

GFL Industries is hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician / Diesel Mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain heavy duty diesel trucks and fleet equipment. The role emphasizes fleet maintenance, hydraulics work, and mobile repair; travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
Experience using diagnostic software is a plus.
Must be computer literate and able to learn new software systems.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment.
Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas and electric equipment.
Prepare reports and order parts; plan repairs in the M5 planner.
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
Travel between Eveleth, Anoka and Bemidji as needed.
