Role Summary

The General Superintendent will develop and execute the project plan and oversee all aspects of assigned projects with significant complexity. This role involves managing teams, planning construction sequencing, and ensuring project goals are met, all aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values. The position requires travel and full-time on-site presence for projects across the United States.

Key Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety culture and promote an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, and EEO.
• Develop work plans, coordinate project site care, lead meetings, and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and ensure proper documentation.
• Support project closeouts, participate in project pursuits, and recruit top talent.
• Promote diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex projects from start to finish.
• Provide leadership for multiple projects and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to training development and deliver leadership messages effectively.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management, scheduling software, and construction technology.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, trades, self-perform work, and budget management.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 12+ years construction experience, with 10+ years in field supervision; experience with Lean principles and high-tech projects preferred.
