Job summary

A leading national maintenance firm is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform various tasks such as carpentry, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance and be prepared to travel throughout the United States for commercial projects. Qualifications

• Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing and installation of cabinetry.
• Experience with painting both interior and exterior spaces.
• Knowledgeable in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, and tile.
• Basic plumbing knowledge, including sink and toilet installations.
• Basic electrical skills, including installation of light fixtures and minor problem diagnosis.
• Familiarity with HVAC, especially refrigeration and PM service calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and communications with customers.
• Follow OSHA requirements in all work activities.
• Travel and work overnight shifts as required.
• Work overtime and be on-call during emergencies.
