Job summary
A leading national maintenance firm is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform various tasks such as carpentry, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance and be prepared to travel throughout the United States for commercial projects. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, a 401-K plan, paid vacations, and travel reimbursement.
Qualifications
Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing and installation of cabinetry.
Experience with painting both interior and exterior spaces.
Knowledgeable in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, and tile.
Basic plumbing knowledge, including sink and toilet installations.
Basic electrical skills, including installation of light fixtures and minor problem diagnosis.
Familiarity with HVAC, especially refrigeration and PM service calls.
Responsibilities
Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
Maintain detailed records of repairs and communications with customers.
Follow OSHA requirements in all work activities.
Travel and work overnight shifts as required.
Work overtime and be on-call during emergencies.
