Earn weekly pay at BDS! The Traveling Retail Merchandising Specialist is a full-time, dedicated BDS Rep responsible for break-fix, installation, ad-hoc maintenance, and general merchandising tasks. Responsibilities include installing/building displays, end caps, fixturing, maintaining displays, resetting PLANOGRAMs, conducting break-fix repairs, and participating in our in-store prescription drug collection program. This role requires overnight travel at least once per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install/build displays, fixturing, endcaps, including security, cabling, wiring, monitors/media, and audio
• Troubleshoot and resolve display issues to ensure functionality
• Lead team projects and assist with training; projects may involve travel or overnight stays
• Perform ad-hoc maintenance within 48-72 hours, troubleshooting issues and ensuring displays are operational
• Travel locally up to 120 miles with paid drive time and mileage
• Travel overnight once per week
• Work 40-50+ hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends; hours are communicated in advance
• Accurately report store visit statuses and perform merchandising functions like reset PLANOGRAMs and setting price tags
• Build relationships with store staff and participate in weekly calls
• Complete administrative tasks promptly
• Other tasks as assigned

Prescription Drug Collection Duties

• Manage collection of prescription drugs in designated containers, with store interactions limited to pharmacists and leadership

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with display building, fixturing, and monitor cabling
• Tool proficiency for display maintenance
• Experience troubleshooting display issues

Skills and Attributes:

• Willingness for weekly overnight travel
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage accounts independently
• Ability to read schematics and connect components correctly
• Professional demeanor
• Proficiency with personal Smartphone/Tablet, GPS, and reporting tools
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Commitment to minimum weekly hours and special projects
• Basic toolkit (list provided)
• Complete required paid training prior to visits
