Job summary

Skillit is seeking skilled individuals to join a Davidson, NC concrete crew for formwork installation and stripping. You will work with wood, metal and plastic forms for footings, slabs, walls and more on commercial sites. This per diem role requires frequent out-of-town travel, outdoor work, and elevation exposure.

Expect 40–55 hours with potential overtime and a safety-first approach. Ideal candidates read blueprints, measure and cut to tight tolerances, and coordinate with foremen and crane

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and shop drawings; measure, mark and cut materials to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Hands-on experience building and installing concrete formwork on commercial projects.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; measure and cut materials to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and shop drawings; measure, mark and cut materials to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Build, assemble and erect wood, metal and plastic concrete forms for footings, slabs, walls, columns, piers, ramps and steps.
• Set up scaffolding, rigging and assist during concrete placement; observe pours for alignment and stability.
• Strip forms after cure and perform cleanup and form maintenance.
• Follow site safety plans and use PPE at all times.
